Join the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) as we continue celebrating our 25th anniversary with a special evening in Phoenix, bringing together friends, partners, supporters, Allies, and colleagues from across Arizona and the Southwest.

Since our founding in 2001, SWEEP has worked alongside utilities, policymakers, businesses, Tribal Nations, local governments, and communities to advance practical energy solutions that lower energy costs, reduce pollution, strengthen our electric grid, and improve quality of life throughout Arizona and the Southwest. From helping establish some of the nation’s strongest utility energy efficiency requirements to advancing building energy codes, transportation electrification, and housing and land use solutions, Arizona has played a central role in SWEEP’s 25-year history.

Our Arizona celebration is an opportunity to reconnect with longtime partners, recognize the progress we’ve made together, and look ahead to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. As energy demand grows and Arizona continues to experience record heat, rapid population growth, and increasing pressure on energy and water resources, SWEEP remains committed to advancing practical, equitable, and cost-effective solutions that benefit every community.

Guests will enjoy an evening of networking, refreshments, and conversation while celebrating a quarter century of collaboration and impact across the Southwest. We’ll also share highlights from SWEEP’s 25th anniversary video and recognize many of the individuals and organizations whose partnership has helped shape our work over the past 25 years.
