cold drink vending machine by an average of 46%. Several years of monitoring
performance shows that the technology also cuts vending machine maintenance
costs by reducing component failures. The energy and maintenance savings will
pay back the installed cost of the control in about one year on average. The

other power control technologies for computer monitors, copiers,
snack vending machines, and laser printers.
