Building Code Information and Training Resources

The following organizations provide training, technical assistance and guidance to state and local officials and the building industry with building code adoption, code updates, and code compliance and enforcement.   Additional training programs and resources may be available in your state.

Energy Code Programs by State

For information on state and local code adoption activity by local jurisdictions, by state, visit the ICC web site, or BCAP’s Code Status and Maps page.

Arizona

Arizona is a home rule state, with codes adopted and enforced by local jurisdictions.

Colorado

Colorado is a home rule state, with codes adopted and enforced by local jurisdictions.  The 2003 IECC or any successor edition, however, is the minimum energy code for any jurisdiction that has adopted a building code.

Wyoming

Wyoming is a home rule state, with codes adopted and enforced by local jurisdictions.
